Today in Cumbria a man committed some of the worst crimes imaginable. He went on a killing spree with multiple guns shooting what would appear to be mostly random people. He killed 12 and injured around 30 all over the county before killing himself as he felt the net closing in on him.
It’s scary and tragic that something like this could happen. These killings took place in broad daylight even in a high street of a quiet town. What can we learn from this? Personally I don’t know if we can learn anything. Because guns are readily available to those who really want them, there’s nothing to stop this from happening again. We just have to hope that it won’t.
